A leisurely sleep in today followed by our obligatory coffee and toast. Some meal planning was completed and we have decided to eat up leftovers tonight along with various snacks & nacho's. No one will starve!
Deb took this picture well before I got up!

Once everyone returned from swimming, it was time to embark on today's adventure. We headed North west to Hanalei and made a few stops along the way. First up was the US Post Office just around the bend as we entered Hwy 56 (Kuhio Hwy). Kelly sent off a few postcards as we checked out the store and the Burger place which was closed.
Next stop was a hardwood mill that Hugh spotted the other day. He wanted to get some info for Coltin regarding possible "guitar making" materials.

We continued our drive and popped into the Shell Station for fuel for the rental van. ($5.09 & 9/10ths US per US gallon) What can you do! We were right beside the Christ Memorial Epescopal Chuch so we took a look around the grounds. Very small but beautiful.

We followed the windy road down the hill and into the town of Hanalei. Parking was a bear but we managed to grab some spots just off the beach. We walked the beach area over to the Hanalei Pier. It is a popular spot with swimmers, boogie boarders and surfers which included a four legged version. It was very cute as he plowed through the surf.
Emile wanted to go to the Tahiti Nui bar but sadly, it was closed. We drove over to the main part of town and looked through several shops. Kelly found a kids clothing store immediately and was gone. We wandered around for 30 minutes and then headed back toward our beach house. We took a jog into Princeville and went through some amazing golf courses and some of the subdivisions in the area. Very nice!
We headed back home and relaxed with some crib (Hugh cleaned up) and then we prepped for dinner... I made up a cheese platter for snacking and then I reheated the Lamb, Ribs, Paella while Deb created a monster Nacho platter.

Pretty quiet evening as everyone was stuffed after another great meal, albeit just leftovers. We all stared at our respective devices, read, knitted and blogged the rest of the nite.
It was 25° today with a nice steady breeze all day long.
