I opened up the blinds nice and early this morning and watched the waves roll in. It is an incredible view right from our bedroom.
Coffee and toast again this am as the gals made plans for the day. Kelly & Deb went to the fabric store(s), Simone biked off and will meet Heather later, Emile and Pete took Heather and her e-bike in for some adjustments. They will then drop her to meet up with Simon while they go for a hike around the Nawiliwili area.
Hugh and I stayed behind and enjoyed the beach house and the views. I had a nice face time with my dad in St. Albert, AB.

Peter & Emile had to wait at the bike store as the technician was on his way.... oh look a bar! So they went for an early beverage as they were "forced to wait". Once the bike was adjusted, they dropped Heather off so she could meet up with Simone. They went for a "Long Hike" at Lydgate ... oh look a bar! (Not sure how much "hiking" actually occurred.. just saying)
Hugh and I walked the beach and he went for a swim at the calm end. We walked back and met up with Emile & Pete on the beach in front of the beach house.

Some lounge chair relaxing followed by snacks and then it was time to prep dinner... again!
Just after 4 PM, Kelly and Deb arrived home exhausted from hitting every fabric store that they could find. Along with any other store of interest! I did get a couple nice shirts and some new water shoes. Bonus!
Tonight it's BBQ Ribs, Salt & Vinegar Roasted Potatoes, Corn on the Cob and an "empty the fridge" Salad!

After a great meal, the table was cleared and after a bit of conversation, we had a huge game of Five Crowns. Deb came out on top tonight just beating out Emile who had an epic fail on the last hand. Poor guy... so close!
Some of us retired while a small contingent of hardy drinkers carried on out on the lawn.
Weather today was broken clouds & 23° again with steady winds.
Off to the rack!
